Criteria and Selection Process:
Eligibility Requirements:
- Nominees must be active members of the military or first responder community in good standing.
- Military: Active Duty Service Members, Veterans, Military Connected Civilians, Individuals that serve the Military community
- First Responder: Includes a firefighter, law enforcement officer, paramedic, emergency medical technician, or other individual (including an employee of a legally organized and recognized volunteer organization, whether compensated or not), who, in the course of his or her professional duties, responds to fire, medical, hazardous material, or other similar emergencies.
- Nominees must have demonstrated a meaningful impact or made a significant contribution to their community between May 1, 2024, and April 30, 2025.
- Nominees must reside or be employed in the local community, or their actions must have directly benefited the local area.
