Walk With A Doc

Inspiring Communities through Movement & Conversation

With an aim to make health and happiness accessible to everyone, Walk with a Doc offers free walking programs in communities around the world led by local doctors, healthcare providers, or medical students. These ongoing events allow participants to safely walk (or roll), learn about current health topics, and meet new people.

Walk with Dr. Patrice High from NuEmpowerment Health

Let's Take A Walk!

NuEmpowerment Health is excited to begin our Walk With A Doc program beginning January 2026. This doctor-led walking group is a safe, fun, and FREE community event.

4 Key Components

1.

Exercise:

Walking is one of the single most important things we can do for our health. It’s good for the heart, brain, bones, lungs, muscles, and even helps prevent disease.

2.

Health Education:

Our docs will give you tips on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and you can also ask them health-related questions while you walk.

3.

Social Connection:

Research suggests that connecting with others can improve your quality of life, boost your mood, and decrease depression.

4.

Nature:

Spending time outdoors can be extremely beneficial for both your physical and mental health.
